Pedal the Zoo is an engaging tour and celebration of downtown Kalamazoo. This excursion is designed to encourage people to come downtown, celebrate the unique places that help to define community and support the local cycling culture. The outing itself is designed to celebrate small businesses- local bicycle shops, food entrepreneurs, merchandise vendors, and local breweries alike.

Our tour aims to bring together the biking community and Kalamazoo enthusiasts and provide a unique and interactive experience. These creative encounters include stops at various landmarks and attractions, where participants can engage in activities. The program features are designed to be quick and interactive, allowing our participants to make the most of their tour and see what downtown Kalamazoo has to offer! The tour travels through the picturesque city bike lanes and offers a variety of places to stop and hydrate, fuel up, or socialize in town during the ride. There will be SAG support with radio crew, route maps, road markings, first aid a refreshment stop provided. Helmets are required.
